+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

The Ant Strategy Explorer and Artificial Intelligence Designer was designed and architected by Wouter Oosthuizen during a build phase spanning several years. In this build phase Wouter performed extensive research on Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Swarm Intelligence, Connectionism, Machine Learning and Data Mining, whilst leveraging his extensive market and industry experience in working towards building our market leading applications.

Wouter was also the creator of The Grail Genetic and Walk-Forward Optimizer software which was sold to TradeStation™ Technologies in 2010, a leading USA platform provider. The walk-forward optimizer software became a standard for objectively evaluating the robustness of trading strategies and is available in 6 languages (English, Japanese, Simplified & Traditional Chinese, Korean, Arabic)



While working in USA, Wouter acted as Product Owner for the TradeStation™ Analysis Engine, EasyLanguage, Server Side Analysis and Portfolio Maestro.



During this period Wouter gained valuable insight on what it takes to design and deliver cutting edge software to the market place.



Wouter has a Master’s degree in Computer Auditing. He has been designing, evaluating and implementing systematic trading strategies in real-time since 1994.



Spanning several years, he has performed extensive research on Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Swarm Intelligence, Connectionism, Machine Learning and Data Mining.



Wouter has more than 25 years market experience, and spent a significant period as a professional futures trader with various Merchant & Private Investment Banks in South Africa.


